Infantry of the British Royal Marines during the Boxer Rebellion is depicted in 1:72 scale
The Boxer Rebellion, also known as the Boxer War, from October 18, 1899 to September 7, 1901, was an armed conflict between the Chinese nationalist Yihequan and Western superpowers. The violent actions of the Yihetuan, who were called "Boxers" in the West due to their traditional martial arts training, against Christian missionaries and other representatives of Western states developed into a war between the Chinese Empire and the major European powers, the USA and Japan.
