This is a kit of the 2.5ton GMC CCKW Cargo Truck in 1:72 scale
The GMC CCKW, also known as “Jimmy” or G-508 under its Ordnance Supply Catalog number,[a] was a very successful series of all-terrain 21⁄2-ton 6×6 trucks built in large numbers to a standardized design (from 1941 to 1945) for the US Army and used primarily as trucks in both World War II and the Korean War. The original “Deuce and a Half” formed the backbone of the famous Red Ball Express, which ensured the supply of the Allied armies as they advanced eastwards after the invasion of Normandy.
