The three-axle wheeled vehicles of F. Krupp AG, unofficially known as Krupp-Protze, were supplied to the Reichswehr and Wehrmacht under the designation L 2 H 43 (1933-1936) and L 2 H 143 (1937-1941). Around 7000 of the striking vehicles with the sloping bonnet were used in the Second World War as show-off vehicles for light Pak or anti-aircraft guns, armoured personnel carriers and telecommunications/radio vehicles.
